Directions + Parking

25621 W Hermann Avenue, Antioch, IL 60002

Look for this gazebo at the end of our driveway. Sometimes the GPS takes you one property too far. You should not be in front of a red house at a dead end.

Turn right up the driveway and go to the top of the hill.

You can park anywhere in front of this bright pink house in the gravel parking lot. Please do not block other cars or entrances.

If this area is full, please park on an angle along the fence line. Parking can be limited, so please don't leave too much space between cars. Thank you!

Finding The Bluff House

_74I2872.jpg

The Bluff House is the bright pink cottage, but it is gray on the side. Follow the sidewalk around the left side of the building towards the lake.

Use the second set of stairs. Enter the door code and twist the silver knob. We will send the code in a message.

Things to note

Kitchen sink: the kitchen sink has a motion sensor. Turn the water on like normal and wave your hand at the base on the left side.

Microwave: although it looks like a double oven, the top portion is actually the microwave.

Keurig: when using the single-serve Keurig side of the coffee pot, we recommend using the coffee cup you will be drinking from to measure the amount of water that goes into the water reservoir. If you fill more than one mug’s worth of water, it will overflow.

Stove + fan: there is a fan behind the stove. Use the up/down arrow button to raise and lower the fan.

Sleeper sofas: each living room has a sleeper sofa. The linens are in the leather ottoman for the brown leather sleeper sofa. The linens are in the “L” part of the gray sofa. The top lifts up for storage.

Hot tub: please read the safety sign prior to entering and make sure to close it after each use. Please be mindful of noise and how loud you are speaking, especially when the jets are on.

Hot tub maintenance + foam: our hot tubs are cleaned between each group and are maintained by certified maintenance personnel. Please note that foam is the result of leftover soap/detergent in swimsuits. We provide defoamer if you’d like to use it, but all other chemicals and testing is done by our team. For stays over 2 days, we will contact you to arrange a time for testing. You need to wait at least 20 minutes after chemicals are added to use the hot tub.

Quiet hours: quiet hours begin at 10pm. Please be respectful of our neighbors and other guests.

Outside lights: all string lights are on automatic timers.

Garbage: all trash can be taken to the large cans outside. Please do not leave food or crumbs out to help us deter ants and critters.

Children: children should be supervised by an adult at all times, especially while swimming in the lake and/or hot tub. Children shouldn’t be left alone in the cottage, the parking lot, the beach, the rooftop, or any other areas of the resort.

Firewood: want to have a bonfire? You can use your own wood or buy from us. Our large bundles are $10/ each and include fire starter logs.

Boat rental: interested in a boat rental and haven’t reserved it yet? Reach out to us for availability and more information.

The beach: during the summer season, the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, floats, and toys are all free. Please help us keep our toys free and readily available by putting them away after use. When our toys are abused or left out to float away, there may be an additional charge.
